Fall Session comes a great close!

20 Oct 2018 by Aaron Gaily

What a great night last night was. I love bringing all ages together on one night. It’s so great for the little guys to interact with the older boys and so cool to see the older boys encouraging and supporting our lil’ ballers! The looks of excitement and fun on the lil’ guys faces was priceless. If you weren’t there, you missed out. We had a 3 point contest, Free Throw Contest, Dribble Obstacle Course, Team Shooting Relays and one epic Rogue Basketball “Knockout” tournament where Liam the winner got mobbed by the entire group. Not to mention pizza and goodies. Some kids walked away with some prizes, some did not. But we sure hope all those that attended had a memorable night. Big thanks to Ola Rocha for helping put on the final event night and to all our coaches for being so great!

The grand finale was the awarding of this session’s “Rogue Award”. This special award goes to a kid that possesses the intangibles. He works hard, plays hard, listens, is a team player, respectful of his coaches, high attendance, grit, tenacity. This award is far better than MVP. It’s an honor to announce Rogue Award recipients of the Fall 2018 session.
2nd-3rd Grade: Leo Glazier
4th-5th Grade: Carl Weigl
Middle School: Timmy Marnel

Sincerely,
Coach Aaron Gaily
