We are pleased to announce 2 competitive teams and possibly a third that will be competing throughout the San Jose/Bay Area/Sacramento areas this winter. (Please see attached PDF with particulars regarding dates/times/location of tryout along with important requirements needed ahead of time before the tryout)

We are also pleased to announce the coaching staff for our 4th and 5th grade teams.
4th Grade:
Aaron Gaily returns to the same age group teams and will be assisted once again by Heath Rocha, Dan Morgan, and Chip Dorey.
5th Grade:
Andy Dalhamer will be assisted by Jason Gorman at the 5th grade level. Coach Andy brings a wealth of knowledge to the game of basketball with several years coaching at the high school varsity level.
6th Grade:
It is possible that Rogue will field a 6th grade team as well. The 6th grade school season is historically pretty light in numbers of games so we may send a 6th grade team to a few tournaments. More info to come on this in the near future.

Team Selection Format:
This is determined once we see how many kids tryout. Last year we offered 8-9 players in each age group team “full participant” roster spots. We did also offer 2-3 “development team” roster spots at each age group level as well. These athletes would still practice 2-3x/week with their team, but would not travel to tournaments. This offers some of those “on the cusp” athletes a chance to still participate and practice with their team in a much more rigorous practice environment that is going to encourage more rapid improvement. “Development” athletes are encouraged to register for a YMCA or SportsCenter team in order to still be able to play games on weekends.
